Major
-----

* The initialiasation of the database takes some time. Since the service is
started after installation, this means that, upon installation / configuration
the system will be blocked for some minutes.

To allow users to initialise it themselves, possibly after adjusting the
samhainrc configuration file, change the config script allowing users to
select if the database will be initialised (or not).

The debconf message would only be shown if the user selects to initialise

Once implemented, revert the service script to use 'samhain start' instead of
  the init.d file

* Review the patches / improvements introduced by Christian Göttsche, and
  available at https://salsa.debian.org/cgzones/samhain

There are some patches which might be interesting to merge into this package
  (and send upstream)

Wishlist
--------

* Check why the init script provided upstream and the Debian init script are different

* Check why the daemon does not behave the same when sending mail locally if the MTA is
not listening in port 25. It seems not to be able to send mails directly to local users

* Provide also the samhain LKM and the applet-monitor

* Provide versions for mysql and postgres?
