Warp3-FONTS # 6a release (2008) -P-

		* FONTS COLLECTION for AMIGA, Windows PC and Apple user. *

			  <<<	SET # 6a >>>

Another sets of mitigated fonts... Hot, fresh, cool and warm fonts, that is :)

* Fonts enclosed in SET 6a release :

Amiga row never dies
Invisible
Metro
Metro light
Clear Blue Sky
Clear Blue Sky High

* All supplied fonts are made by me, using Typesmith software, A1200 and WinUAE.
  They are original and almost'complete':
Capitals, lowercase letters, symbols, euro (set to currency symbol ()
  location).
Some (rare ?) glyphes are missing and other ones are missplaced, though.
How to get generally the currency symbol through the keyboard:
Amiga: "Alt Y" or "Alt E". Windows PC: "Alt Gr $" .

* Most of these fonts are done from scratch, designed straight from TypeSmith.
Few of them are widely inspirated by fonts made by other artists.
However, the glyphes are different, and a wide range of them are novelty.
The following term: "inspirated by <author>" indicates this.
Most of them are not hinted and got no kernel pairs, since very few softwares
use them (and it makes the file bigger, too).
TTFs versions of the fonts under Windows won't support automatic bolding.
There's no automatic selection of the right font style for these TTFs & OTF
  fonts under Windows;
you must select the right font by hand for each different style.

* There are many versions of these fonts available from the Aminet :

   - Fonts .type (CompuGrafic 'Intellifont') for the Amiga.

   - Fonts .ttf (True type format) which come in 3 flavours:
+ Amiga TTF (most complete glyphes, though not Amiga fully
		  compliant)
+ PC TTF (ANSI LATIN 1, Unicode compliant)
Size of each font appears to be twice the normal size
because Typesmith puts twice the same glyphes into the font
file : one set for Windows, the second one for Apple.
+ OTF (Opentype format) - some fonts ONLY! -
Beware! This Opentype format is a Postcript Outline version, not
	       TrueType one !
Apparently, you can't use it with a (Windows) Internet browser.

   - Fonts .pfb (Adobe Postscript type 1, hinted) for Amiga or Apple.

Grabbing more glyphes (characters & symbols) from TTF depends on your
  computer system.
About encoding chars: on Windows based system, TypeSmith (Softlogik)
table chars for TTF looks OK with the charMAP utility, but it's a mess
in connection with main Windows softwares. So a PC TTF version was made.
I like TTF being both compatible with Windows and Amiga based system.
Unfortunately, the TTF made with TypeSmith (Latin 1+ code) are not fully
Windows complient. So I had to drop down several characters and replaces
others in PC TTF. For example, 'oe' and 'euro' chars are not at their
respective place. OTF fonts don't have these drawbacks.

* These fonts are "semi-free". Permission is granted to you to use the stuff,
if you don't plan to make financial profit out of them. 'Aminet' may put the
stuff on CD, DVD for selling (if apt).
Please read the attached file(s) to find out more information and full
  conditions of use.

* To the free/shareware fonts makers: please make a readme file for every
generic font you've done, with the same name than the font (<fontname>.txt).
This is very handy when archiving.

To the distributors: please keep the text files attached with the fonts when
  spreading them. Thank you.

* Feel free to e-mail me for any bug report/comment about
them, or to ask me for .afm or Postscript type 3 versions to:
